Service Description

MapScroll is a creator platform that enables creators to publish and sell interactive, story-driven maps. Our services include:

• AI-powered prompt-to-map generation for creators
• Interactive map creation and visualization
• Paid map publishing and monetization tools
• Secure payment processing and access delivery
• Creator payout management and revenue tracking
• Smart pin galleries with auto-pulled images and sources
• Template library for different map types
• Embed and share functionality for websites and platforms
• Engagement analytics and map performance tracking

Account Registration and Security

To use MapScroll, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your contact information remains current

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

When using MapScroll, you agree to:

• Use the service responsibly and lawfully
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not use the service for illegal or harmful activities
• Not interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
• Provide accurate information in your queries and interactions

Additional Creator Responsibilities:

• Own or have rights to all content you publish
• Set fair and accurate prices for your maps
• Provide accurate descriptions and preview content
• Comply with local laws regarding content and taxes
• Maintain accurate payout account information
• Not publish content that violates our community guidelines

Payment Terms and Pricing

For Buyers:

• Map prices are set by individual creators
• One-time payment per map purchase
• Minimum map price: $1 USD
• Immediate access upon successful payment
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes
• Map purchases are final (refunds considered case-by-case for technical issues)

For Creators:

• Creators receive 80% of each sale (platform fee: 20%)
• Payment processing fees may apply per transaction
• Payouts are processed monthly to registered payout accounts
• Minimum payout thresholds and regional availability apply
• Creators are responsible for setting map prices and managing content
• No subscription fees for creators

Intellectual Property

MapScroll and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use our service for personal and commercial purposes as intended, but you may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software or content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on our service

Data Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive to provide accurate location information, MapScroll:

• Makes no guarantees about the accuracy of location data
• Relies on third-party data sources that may contain errors
• Uses AI that may occasionally produce incorrect results
• Should not be used as the sole source for critical decisions

Always verify important location information through multiple sources.

Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• Update these Terms as needed
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms
• Implement usage limits or restrictions

Limitation of Liability

MapScroll is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Decisions made based on our location recommendations
• Losses resulting from inaccurate or outdated information
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Third-party content or services accessed through our platform

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be suspended
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
